Started in the late 1960s by Don and Mera Rubell, the Rubell Family collection today includes over 6,000 works by some of the most significant artitists from the 1960s to the present, and keeps on expanding at an impressive pace. Exhibited in a former drug enforcement agency confiscated-goods warehouse in Downtown Miami, it has been open to the public since 1996.
